What do I put in the bins?

When you arrive at the security checkpoint, you’ll need to remove certain items from your carry-on and place them in a bin for separate X-ray screening. Screening officers and checkpoint signage will guide you through the process.

Items to remove and place in a bin:

Carry-on and several graphics symbolizing small items: keys, watch, cellphone and currency symbols

Personal items

  • Loose change, keys, and small metal items
  • Tip: Place these items inside your carry-on before screening

  • Must be in containers of 100 mL or less
  • All containers must fit inside one clear, resealable 1L plastic bag (one bag per passenger)
